Roaming through the farthest reaches of space, the DST Horizon hunts for trouble (and a pay-check) on humanity’s newest frontier. Led by the fearless Kraig Ryder, the ship’s crew is composed of individuals with special combat skills. Those abilities, useful as they may be for mercenary operations, have been acquired at a heavy personal cost and have turned their wielders into social outcasts and rejects.

Here we offer you a glimpse into the lives of all four playable characters in our upconing WiiWare™ release, Horizon Riders:

The Leader, Kraig Ryder

A decorated former Commander of the Galactic Confederation Expeditionary Force, his no-nonsense attitude earned him a reputation as tactical genius, the respect of enlisted men and the universal dislike of his bureaucratic superiors. After an honourable discharge from active duty, he now commands a ragtag crew of the most efficient operatives in the know galaxy.

The Rebel, Serephena Rose

Utter contempt for authority is one of the many effects that a high-ranking military father left on this young woman. Seemingly bent on eradicating the aristocratic pedigree of her surname, she joined the crew of Horizon after several arrest orders issued over twelve star systems. Offences include: Contraband, corporate sabotage and an unconfirmed illegal commandeering of a Confed Navy Recon Raptor.

The Veteran, Balfour Ligma

One of the many men who served with Kraig Ryder during the Kadian Blitz campaign (and also one of the few who survived that conflict). Fate reunited both former comrade-in-arms during a daring raid on techno-smugglers in planet Nodachi, where the two met as opponents. Once Ligma realized that Ryder was the one hunting his employers, he decided to turn them over and joined the crew of Horizon.

The Hunter, Skyhunter Samahara

Born a slave in the workpits of an illegal mining operation deep in Orion Nebula, she was raised in a harsh environment where mere survival was the only pay for a brutal work day. Once the slaves revolted, she personally hunted down her captors (and all slavers across the sector) and became proficient in fighting techniques that no amount of combat training can ever teach.
