  1. I’m so excited about this game! Can we get a trailer or some gameplay footage soon? This game looks great, and the crazy modifiers and cube idea make this something truly special. I’m watching this one closely.

  9. Love the write up for this game. You guys need to release more info on the web to get more attention. Some videos wouldn’t hurt either. With picking being slim for the Wii this year this game can do better than you expect if it lives up to the hype.

  10. This game sounds very unique and special, compared to the loads of gritty, realistic, gory shooters of today. I am definitely looking forward to it, but litterally all of the information i could find was what sabarasa said in the issue of nintendo power. I am looking forward to a gameplay trailer!

  23. Yes, this game is going to come out, we are polishing it, and the date got pushed to an undefined new one. We are working to get the best possible multiplayer experience, so please have a little additional patience. We will announce a date soon.

  26. Seriously all I want is a game with split screen multiplayer and bots. The bots don’t even need to be that smart. If I play goldeneyes with casual gamers I tend to smoke them, cause I play a lot of golden eye, and it discourages them. The survival mode .in conduit 2 was kinda good, but really limited and the rest of the multiplayer is lame. :-( . basically I want the equivalent of time splitters 2 from psp2.

    With the wii life cycle winding down this could be the last chance to get split screen, co-op/bot-enabled goodness. I have invested so much in perephials, that I would def shell out another $20 bucks via wiiware if it gave me those simple things!!

    Did this game die because Tron legacy was so bad?

  38. Toni, most probably it’ll slip into 2012. For ESRB we are aiming for Teen, but the game is unrated so far.

  49. I like Sabarasa’s art style and I’m looking forward to Protocol. If I can bring up another wiiware FPS, Water Warfare was fun but it is ruined by players who glitch through the walls. Could you make it so if a player somehow ends up inside of a wall, they are forced to respawn?

  55. @lorenzo, you may not want to expect that much. I will get this game because it sounds great, but the wiiware service has a cap at around 40MB, and that will limit sabarasa a lot. They are already making a great online and splitscreen multiplayer shooter, I would rather them get the gameplay good, than have a lot of maps.

  65. I red an article about protocol on GoNintendo! and they say it’s going to be 4 player online, will there be like local play only? it’s like going back to the golden eye days, having local split screen offline, with bots perhaps?
